Yesterday I took the kids to the Fall Festival at the Sanderson Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. We met my brother Jake and his family there. It was the first activity that we have gone to with the deaf community. It was really fun. We had dinner and then they had carnival like games for the kids. The boys went "fishing." Joseph got a pumpkin whistle. He loved it.
Then the boys played a game where they threw bean bags at cans decorated with bats.
They also threw bean bags at a Jack 'O' Lantern. Joseph got 2 of the 4 bean bags in the mouth. He's got quite a little arm on him!
The boys got their faces painted. Johnny got a ghost and Joseph got a Frankenstein. Eliza also got a cute pumpkin on her face.
It was a fun night. It's so fun for my kids to have cousin's the same age. Here's Eliza and Anna chilling in the stroller together.
Joseph and Johnny have become pretty good buddies. They play well together. One thing that I was noticing yesterday is that when Joseph wants to get the attention of Johnny he knows that he has to use his hands. It's pretty cute.
